In this artwork, Ayatul Kursi calligraphy is arranged in a circular form. The sides of the artwork are designed to resemble a shield used in battle, giving the piece a protective aura. Reciting Ayatul Kursi is said to offer protection from Shaitaan (the devil). Those who recite Ayatul Kursi in the morning are believed to be protected throughout the day, and those who recite it at night are protected until morning. According to a hadith reported by An-Nasa’i and graded Sahih by Ibn Hibban, reciting Ayatul Kursi after every obligatory prayer guarantees entry into Paradise, as nothing but death can prevent it. Moreover, reciting Ayatul Kursi drives away Shaitaan from the reciter’s home, and safeguards their children and residence from theft. Additionally, reciting Ayatul Kursi is believed to ease the process of dying. For further protection against the evil eye, Ayatul Kursi can be recited along with Qul Surahs.
