Baab Al-Dhikr is an Arabic term that translates to “The Gate of Remembrance” or “The Gate of Invocation”. In Islamic spirituality, it refers to the practice of invoking the names of Allah, reciting Quranic verses, and engaging in various forms of remembrance and contemplation. Baab Al-Dhikr holds significant importance in Islamic culture, as it is believed to be a gateway for spiritual elevation and closeness to God. It is often considered a fundamental aspect of Sufi tradition, a mystical branch of Islam that emphasizes the inner dimension of the faith. Baab Al-Dhikr can be practiced individually or in a group setting, and is often accompanied by a variety of rituals such as rhythmic breathing, chanting, and movement.
Framing is currently offered within Perth, Australia only. Because paper-cutting artworks are delicate and dimensional, framing is a little different to standard prints. I recommend a “floating” presentation, sandwiched between two pieces of glass so the artwork stays protected and visible from both sides.
If you’re in Perth, I can arrange framing and deliver to you. If you’re outside Perth, please message me with your location and I’ll share the best options and next steps.
Every artwork is an original, hand-crafted piece by Tusif Ahmad. Each order includes a signed authenticity card.
